Xtar DS1 is a high-quality diving flashlight with a compact design, equipped with an original Cree XP-L2 LED offering 1000 lumens and a range of up to 280 meters. Precisely finished, the perfectly fitted DS1 flashlight housing is made of high-quality AL6063 aluminum alloy. Additionally, the entire body is coated with an anti-corrosion agent. The construction is sealed with o-rings, ensuring waterproofness up to 100m. High-quality contacts and two gold-plated springs ensure very good battery contact and high shock resistance. The strong focused light (focused spot -7°, halo 72°) is ideal for diving in underwater caves and grottos. Additionally, thanks to the use of high-quality tempered glass with an anti-reflective coating, you get a maximally efficient light source. The glass transmittance is as high as 98.5%, compared to standard glass transparency ranging from 82 to 92%. For better grip, the flashlight body is equipped with 3 ribbed rings - ensuring the flashlight does not easily slip from your hand. 

DS1 will notify the user of a discharged battery by flashing three times. This is a sign that the battery charge level has dropped below 5%. The flashlight is also equipped with several protections such as:

• thermal protection - when the internal temperature of the flashlight approaches 60°C, the controller will reduce the light output to cool down and not exceed the critical temperature.
• reverse polarity protection - the flashlight has an intelligent circuit that prevents damage if the battery is inserted incorrectly. 

Unlike most competing flashlights, Xtar used a magnetic slider instead of a regular switch, allowing DS1 to have smooth brightness adjustment.
